Founded by Holly Decker in ______, she later sold the business to Crayton Hammer. Years later, when Crayton found himself in a bit of a financial bind, he sold MODified Music to Rob Darke and his friend Tracey Bushman who took ownership around 2006/2007.

Despite finding a new location in Sugarhouse, and having the lease in hand, the retail store sadly has still not returned. This was fortunate because, in the meantime, the new location was demolished as part of the total bullshit gentrification of the 2100 South 1100 East intersection.
